Wai

This illustrator, Wai, i think relates really well to my brief, especially for illustrating the front cover, as this is all about celebrating women writing. 

I also like the way she uses block colour in her work which is very simple, but yet still manages to show the tones and emotions of the objects in her work. 

The colours also are colours that i am thinking about working with in my front cover illustration, the colours and the themes in Wai's work relates perfectly to 'Virago'.
